How to activate the Calendar Sync on BlackBerry / I don’t see the Calendar sync option

Why are my itineraries not in the Blackberry calendar?
Your itineraries will be available on the "My Itineraries" tab inside the WorldMate Live application. The built-in calendar cannot provide all the services WorldMate Live does and therefore WorldMate Live should be used as your calendar while traveling.

What are those messages I saw during set up, I dismissed them - will it work?
Here are the messages that come up during the initial set up of WorldMate Live:

1. You are prompted to choose your current location.
2. You are prompted to enter the same user name and password as on the WorldMate Live web page.
3. "In order for WorldMate Live to perform update actions properly, you are recommended to mark in the following windows the option 'all http/s connections' and to 'Allow this connection.' ..."
If you chose 'OK' (default) then your device is set up correctly and you should be able to perform all updates.
If you chose "don't allow connection" then you must do the following:
On your device, go to Settings->Options->Advanced Options->Applications

1. Scroll down the list of applications until you find WorldMate Live.
2. Highlight WorldMate Live and press "Menu" button on your device.
3. Select "Edit Permissions" from the Menu and make sure that all 3 options on top ("Connections", "Interactions" and "User Data") are set to "Allow".
4. Launch WorldMate Live.

In order to have your Gold membership properly extended to your BlackBerry device, please try to initiate a manual sync by getting into the "My Itinerary" service screen on WorldMate Live on your BlackBerry and selecting "Synchronize trips" from the menu.

If this fails please try to remove WorldMate Live from your device, and then download and install over the air from: http://get.wmlive.com/

An Airport is not included in WorldMate Live Flight Schedules.
The predefined list of airports which are available for selection by country, city, and airport name is limited in size.
Therefore many airports which are covered by our Flight Schedules service are not included in the predefined list.
Please try using the Airport Code (3 letter airport code) in the Flight Schedules service in order to locate flights to/from this airport.
The Flight Schedules database contains around 18,000 unique airport codes.

How to activate the Calendar Sync on BlackBerry / I don’t see the Calendar sync option
WorldMate Live is designed to automatically detect when you have a calendar item that matches any of your itinerary dates and then it will come into action.
(e.g. - if your itinerary is between Jan-10-2008 and Jan-20-2008, only calendar items from that date range will be synched).

You will see a pop-up screen which will enable you to set up the calendar sync feature, step-by-step.
After the initial set up you will be able to change the calendar sync settings via WorldMate Live settings menu.
